Qigong means “life force energy skill or practice”. It is an ancient wellness modality based in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It consists of slow gentle meditative movements, holding postures, breathwork, and visualizations for activating and unifying the mind, body, and spirit into one balanced energetic being full of vital life force Qi.

Bright Spirit Qigong classes follow the YOQI® Method of the Six Phases of Qi Flow (attune, purge, tonify, grow, circulate and integrate) within the framework of the Five Elements Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Generally classes begin with an inner tuning in and then we move into Qigong Flow warm ups, followed by slow moving meditations and finally finishing up with integrating the Qi in the Lower Dantian. This balancing and harmonizing practice aligns your Qi energy with the unlimited energy of the seasons, the Earth, and the Cosmos.

There are no memorizations of movements and no equipment required. Prior meditation or Qigong experience is not required. Bright Spirit Qigong classes will be taught in standing or sitting postures but all movements can be easily modified to sitting in a chair or laying down as needed.

FREE Intro to Qigong Flow – Monthly class opportunity for those who are new to Qigong and/or those who want to try Qigong Flow! Class begins with an introduction about Qigong and the YOQI® Method of the Six Phases of Qi Flow and then we will move through a 30 minute guided practice with simple and easy to follow Qigong Flows. Qigong Flow for Beginners – First 1/2 of class (tuning in and purging warm ups) is taught standing with the second 1/2 of class (meditative Qigong flows) is taught while sitting in a chair. Great for seniors and new students. In-Person & Online.
Weekly Qigong Flow with Kimberly – Qi Maintenance Class – This class is taught standing and is designed to maintain and cultivate your Qi on a weekly basis in alignment with the seasons for optimal alignment and balance of your life force. Movements follow the Five Element Theory of Qigong. Online.
Qigong Meditation Circle – 30 minute class beginning with Qigong Flow Spinal warm ups to prepare the body for seated or standing meditation practice. Followed by a guided neigong, “inner qi work”, healing meditation utilizing visualization, breathwork and inner awareness. Online.
Qigong Flow for Energy Workers, Empaths & Highly Sensitive People – Monthly specially designed class to guide you through a series of targeted gentle practices emphasizing releasing unwanted energies, grounding your qi, reconnecting to your energetic center alignment, establishing the central channel meridian, and strengthening your energetic boundary (aura). Online.
2 HOUR Qigong Flow Foundations Seasonal Workshop – Offered in the Spring, Summer, Late Summer, Autumn & Winter. Workshops begin with an introduction about Qigong and then provide a deep dive into the Yang Sheng “nourishing lifestyle” of each season + acupressure points + 1 Hour Qigong Flow. Handouts provided. 2 HOUR Qigong Flow Foundations for Energy Workers, Empaths & Highly Sensitive People Workshop – Workshop begins with an introduction about Qigong and Qi and provides in depth discussion about the energetic aura, wei qi, central channel and grounding principles used in Qigong.
